How Real Bride Nevena found her dream dress at The Boutique & Co and all the details from her destination wedding in Serbia!
One of the biggest perks from working with brides, is hearing back from them about their wedding day, how much they loved their dress and seeing all the photos from their celebration! We absolutely love when our real brides tell us stories and details from their special day. So we thought we would share them here as well and spread the love!
Nevena and Ognen wed in June of this year at the stunning Belgrade Fortress in Belgrade, Serbia. Nevena visited us at The Boutique & Co just two months before her wedding day to choose her dream dress. She ended up falling in love with the ‘Heather’ wedding dress, a charming, vintage-inspired choice from Bianco Evento for her destination wedding!

What stood out for you during your bridal shopping experience at The Boutique & Co?
‘The ease and convenience that things went with.’
Describe the moment you found your dream dress with us
‘What stood out for me was the moment I realised the dresses can be comfortable and I can feel good wearing them. Firstly I found my “dream bridal shop” and knew I would get my wedding dress there. This simply felt natural. And then it was just about picking one dress out of few that I liked, narrowing it down. In the end, it came down to picking the best out of few great dresses.’
What did your partner think of your dress? How did they react when they saw you in it for the first time?
‘He absolutely loved it. He said I looked amazing and that he is a lucky guy (which he is 😉)’
What was your wedding day like?
‘Both of us were very relaxed and chilled, we enjoyed every moment of it. We kept things very easy also for the preparations. The wedding suppliers were professional at what they do, we delegated a lot of the decisions and took most of the advices they gave us. In the end, for us, it was NOT about the details, as nobody would really remember the colour of the napkins or the flowers – what mattered is the atmosphere we created and the feelings we shared.’
What was your favourite part of your wedding day?
‘When the official part was over and we could just relax with great music and food.’
Who did the photography for your wedding day?
‘A local photographer recommended by the venue.’
Where was the venue for your wedding day?
‘A restaurant at a fortress in Belgrade, Serbia.’
Can you name any other wedding suppliers who contributed to your wedding day? Such as the florist, hair & makeup, catering etc?
‘Most of them were recommended either by the venue or friends.’
Would you recommend us at The Boutique & Co to future brides?
‘Yes, of course. Not only the dress I picked, but in general the dresses are very comfortable, I felt great wearing them.’
