How Real Bride Lindsay found her perfect wedding dress at The Boutique & Co and all the details from her Suffolk Wedding!

One of the biggest perks from working with brides, is hearing back from them about their wedding day, how much they loved their dress and seeing all the photos from their celebration! We absolutely love when our real brides tell us stories and details from their special day. So we thought we would share them here as well and spread the love!

Our real bride Lindsay got married in July after visiting us to find her dress almost a year prior. She chose the simple but stunning ‘ANASTASIA’ dress by Bianco Evento. A popular choice amongst our brides, featuring high-quality georgette, an elegant V-neckline and soft tulle inserts for discreet coverage. As her wedding fell on one of the hottest days of the year, this dress was a perfect choice for a summer wedding!

Lindsay and Nick’s wedding looked so incredible, complete with bubbles, an airfield photoshoot (as Nick is an aviator) and plenty of Scottish dancing!

We asked Lindsay some questions so she could reveal all from her summer wedding and how she chose her dress with us.

Describe your bridal shopping experience with us

‘Amazing. I had an idea in my head of what I wanted, and while I did try on a few other styles just to see what they were like, I ended up buying the dress I originally had picked out.’

What stood out for you during your bridal shopping experience at The Boutique & Co?

‘I wasn’t rushed or pushed into trying dresses that I didn’t feel were the right fit for me. There were suggestions made and the staff were helpful, but it felt really relaxed and enjoyable the whole way through.’

Describe the moment you found your dream dress with us

‘I had spotted it online and knew I wanted something simple and not too heavy (so I could dance in it!). When I tried it on in the shop nothing else compared – it was the one!’

What did your partner think of your dress? How did they react when they saw you in it for the first time?

‘He did cry a little bit! He really loved how sleek and elegant it was and how well it went with the veil.’

What was your wedding day like?

‘Fun, happy, hot and busy!’

What was your favourite part of your wedding day?

‘We had a ceilidh dance in the evening which was so much fun. Everyone got up on the dance floor and we had the best time dancing with all of our friends and family.’
