How Real Bride Alyna found her dream wedding dress at The Boutique & Co and the details from her stunning Modern Hall wedding!
Our real bride Alyna had a sophisticated London/Surrey wedding at Modern Hall in late July. Morden Hall is actually not far at all from us at The Boutique & Co, given London traffic it might take a while to get there but just outside of London on the Surrey border is a stunning venue nestled amongst the trees but not far at all from the hustle and bustle. Alyna wore Yumei by Luna Novias, one of our favourite classic A-Line wedding dresses in a brocade fabric which has the light pattern over the dress, giving a very simple, elegant cut dress something very unique about it.
We asked Alyna some questions so she could tell us all about her wonderful wedding and how she chose her dress with us.
Describe your bridal shopping experience with us
The entire experience was a stress-free and thoroughly enjoyable. Despite it being my first time trying on dresses, I didn’t need to look any further – I found ‘the one’ thanks to Sam’s expert guidance. Sam effortlessly turned what could have been an overwhelming process into a seamless experience. The abundance of beautiful dresses to choose from quickly put my worries at bay, and I found myself at ease. The shop’s ambiance created a comfortable atmosphere where I felt truly at home.
What stood out for you during your bridal shopping experience at The Boutique & Co?

Describe the moment you found your dream dress with us
Sam encouraged me to try on my dress several times, and at the beginning, I was unsure as my initial focus had been on dresses adorned with intricate frills rather than a more simple and elegant design. However, when I finally gave it a chane, the moment I slipped into the dress, I instantly knew it was the perfect choice. I remain amazed at how Sam foresaw its impeccable fit for me! I’m incredibly grateful to her for encouraging me to try it on, as I might have otherwise overlooked it. Transitioning from a satin sample, I opted for a brocade material. Although it felt like a risk without physically seeing it, my faith in Sam was unwavering at this point, and I was overjoyed with the outcome.
What was your wedding day like?
It was filled with lots of love, happy tears and endless hugs! Our choice of a classic and elegant style harmonised seamlessly with my dress, creating a perfect match. The ceremony truly stood out as the highlight for us. Feeling that overwhelming outpouring of love and support from our family and friends who had journeyed from around the world was beyond words. The fact that our close friend, the very person who had played matchmaker for us, stepped in as the officiant made the moment feel beautifully complete.
