How Real Bride Sara found her dream wedding dress at The Boutique & Co and the details from her stunning Greek wedding!
Our real bride Sara had a whimsical Greek wedding in Santorini on the May bank holiday weekend. At the beautiful Mystique, a Luxury Collection Hotel. Sara wore one of our all time favourite dresses from the Aire Barcelona Beach collection, perfect for a Greek wedding!
Sara chose the elegant and simple Quiana wedding dress by Aire Barcelona which has since been discountinued but is still available to snap up in our Outlet.
We asked Sara some questions so she could tell us all about her wonderful wedding and how she chose her dress with us.
Describe your bridal shopping experience with us
I was looking for a destination wedding dress to wear in Santorini. Sam chose a range of dresses for me to try on and made the experience fun. I felt like I had stepped into a time machine and was a little girl again playing dress up! I ended up falling in love with a dress that showed off parts of my body that I usually would hide. It was just perfect for the occasion.
What stood out for you during your bridal shopping experience at The Boutique & Co?
You didn’t feel rushed, it was a very enjoyable experience. I loved that the dresses had your ‘something blue’ sewn inside them. It was also a lovely touch to visit the wine shop next door and receive a glass of bubbly to celebrate my purchase.
Describe the moment you found your dream dress with us
It was a real ‘Say yes to the dress’ moment. I got emotional and knew it was my dress!
What was your wedding day like?
It was an absolute dream, a true fairytale. We had traditional Greek musicians, photos at sunset on the cliffs, a gorgeous 5 course meal on the Agean Balcony and our immediate family there to share the special moments with us.
