Our real bride Lucy had a beautiful Cambridge wedding at St John’s College and Fulbourn Lodge in September. Lucy wore a beaded cap sleeve wedding dress from Aire Barcelona that flattered her effortlessly.
We asked Lucy some questions so she could tell us all about her wonderful wedding and how she chose her dress with us.
Describe your bridal shopping experience with us
Could not have been any better. The booking experience was smooth, Sam was extremely friendly, and all the dresses were gorgeous!

Sam’s expertise – she knew exactly what I might want within minutes of me walking in!
Describe the moment you found your dream dress with us
Sam picked out two similar dresses, and the dream dress was the second one I tried on. I have been thinking about that dress ever since.
What was your wedding day like?
A dream – one of the only warm and dry days in September! The whole day couldn’t have gone better and went by in a flash. We sent our evening taxi away at the end because we didn’t want it to end.
Can you name any other wedding suppliers who contributed to your wedding day? Such as the florist, hair & makeup, catering etc?
Florist – The Stable Blooms, Catering – Boxed Events Cambs Satish did the alterations (which were absolutely excellent – the dress fitted extremely well)
