Louise Perry

I bring a wealth of wedding business knowledge to The Boutique. I am the founder and creative director at Louise Perry Weddings and have been planning weddings for over 14 years now and so not only do I understand the world of weddings I also understand the brides.

The wedding industry hasn’t always been my life. My background is music, having trained as a singer and dancer, I’ve spent my early life treading the boards in the West End and across Europe.

From there I went onto a successful broadcasting career, presenting on both television and radio. I ended up at the BBC working for BBC Five Live, where I was the voice of their travel news for 10 years – Louise Perry, 5 Live travel.

How I ended up in the Wedding Industry

It was through singing at weddings that I discovered my love for the wedding industry, and so
Louise Perry Weddings was born and music plays a huge part in every wedding I plan, and I place a strong emphasis on ensuring that every celebration has the perfect soundtrack.

I am also a director of a wedding planning training company, Planning Redefined. Mentoring and training new and experienced wedding planners and showing them how to run a sustainable business. When I’m not immersed in all things wedding, I am a football fanatic and life long Liverpool supporter #YNWA, I have far too many handbags, I love walking my two rescue dogs, Honey and Logan on the beach near where I live and I have two amazing daughters that make me proud every day.

My name is Samantha , Sam to most people!

I started my career in the Bridal industry in 2000.Where i became the manager of the bridal department in Harrods,’The Wedding Dress’. It was in this role,that I quickly established.my love of the bridal industry and all wedding dresses.Helping brides fulfil their dreams and creating their bridal journey.

In 2005 I went on to become the manager,of the then , recently established Browns Bride in Mayfair,which wa s part of the very famous Browns fashion empire. It was in this role that we launched various major designers,exclusively in the UK.Such as Monique L’Huillier,Reem Acra,Peter Langner and Marchesa and Oscar de La Renta to name but a few. In 2010 ,we went on to launch a second site, which became Vera Wang at Browns .Located in the high exclusive Brook Street.This was a flagship store for the Vera Wang couture collection. I attended the bridal couture shows in New York,Milan and Paris.Selecting the collection s for our brides and our boutiques.

After taking a career break and a pandemic.The Bridal world was once again calling.And i came to my present role ,The Boutique and Co , Where i now reside and oversee this beautiful,individual ,privately owned boutique in South West London. It’s a very unique and personal experience for all our brides It has and continues to be a fulfilling chapter in my career and I look forward to continuing to make special moments for our brides.
