Do I need to book an appointment?
Yes, we are appointment based only.
How long is my appointment and do I have to pay?
Our bridal appointments are 1h long. We charge a £20 appointment fee for bridal appointments but this does include a glass of prosecco at Kendricks Wine Merchant next door to celebrate your dress shopping.
How many people can join my appointment?
This depends, for Bridal appointments we allow two guests. For events such as trunk shows or sample sales, only one guest will be permitted per bride.
How long in advance do I need to order?
Again this varies between brands. For most of our wedding dresses most of our suppliers work to a 3-6 month lead time and you’ll want time for the alterations to be done so we’d recommend around 6-9 months before the wedding at the latest though if you order earlier that is no bad thing! Most brands will do a rush order but expect this to cost more and it’s not always available. We do have access to “live availability” some of our brands will predict stock demand and start making popular styles in popular sizes so we can take some last minute orders but your options will be limited to what is available.
Do you allow pictures?
Unfortunately, at the request of some of our designers, we don’t allow pictures to be taken in-store. If you have someone who you would like to help you choose your dress but cannot attend the appointment we recommend you let them know the appointment time so you can FaceTime them from the appointment if you find a dress that you love.
Do you accept returns?
All our are Items made to order and are non refundable.
Do you serve bubbles?
We don’t have bubbles during the appointment in order to safely protect our dresses – however after your appointment we do invite you to enjoy a glass of bubbles on us next door at Kendrick’s Wine Merchant to deliberate or celebrate your dress appointment.
