Long Sleeved Wedding DressBLOG
We have recently had lots of brides looking for a long sleeved wedding dress! This seems to be gaining popularity, particularly with the royal weddings we’ve had over the last few years where long sleeved wedding dresses were very much in vogue!
Long Sleeved Wedding Dress For Royalty
Kate Middleton’s gorgeous long sleeved wedding dress, designed by Sarah Burton, had sleeves made of beautiful lace.
Our new dress from Jasmine Bridal, style F181005, is really channeling that Kate Middleton look. The sweetheart neckline under that beautifully delicate lace is just exquisite. Add to that a ruched waist and floaty skirt for a princess perfect dress.
Meghan Markle, in her recent wedding to Prince Harry, also opted for a long sleeved wedding dress. Designed by another British, designer, Clare Waight Keller, Meghan went for a more sleek look which suited her style perfectly.
Our Tiffany dress by Bianco Evento is a great option for a sleek, long sleeved wedding dress. (Even better, this one is priced for the non-princesses among us, at under £1000!).
We have lots of other options for long sleeved wedding dresses – whether you want something sparkly, lacy, subtle or over the top.
As you can see, we have a very wide selection of wedding dresses with sleeves. Such a gorgeous style, and perfect for brides looking for a little more coverage for their arms. Some brides prefer this for a church wedding, others just prefer to be a little more covered up.
And don’t think a wedding dress with sleeves is just for a winter wedding. Kate and Meghan both had Spring weddings. And if you opt for sheer lace sleeves this would be perfect for a summer wedding too.
The other option of course is to choose a bolero or overlay to go over your strapless dress, thereby giving you two dresses in one (a la Kate!). We have lots of lace jackets, boleros and overlays to choose from to help you achieve this look.
